About Me

Hi, my name is Jitesh. First and foremost, thank you for visiting this page. This section is about me (founder of Codeability) and my story. I am currently living and working in London as a Software Engineer, having recently graduated (< 2 years at the time of writing this) and I studied Computer Science at University.

Why I started Codeabilty

I feel the more you practice coding, the more you naturally learn, the longer you can keep those abilities. The sky is the limit when it comes to processes you can automate, solutions you can create and fundamentally increase areas where you can contribute from improved logical practices. I noticed during my time at university I always enjoyed my Computer Security assignments and my dissertation piece, the common theme being here that they were both theses; essay-based form of documentations where I could document everything in a granular format to demonstrate my understanding. In hindsight the reason I thrived in both modules was due to the fact I took pride in explaining and breaking down concepts, consequently elevating my own understanding and knowledge of the subject.

As a result, I had a lightbulb idea, why not take the same approach for coding practices, methods, errors and solutions. Whilst working as a developer I had already began to take elaborate notes which would be used as reference points when working as a developer, gradually documenting my findings and gatherings, preventing any information loss and deeply grasping the reasons for bugs/errors and concepts. The key difference being that I’ll share all of this wealth of information with the great World Wide Web to hopefully help others!.

Hobbies
To keep it brief, I would say I am a pretty simple guy, you might hear otherwise if you ask my friends. I play football regularly, I like watching and keeping up with boxing/mma and I am intrigued by horology hence my unhealthy collection of watches. I would say I have always innately inclined and attracted to Computers (hardware) from a young age, glued to my devices, leading to researching and building a PC in my early teens, eventually doing the same for clients, friends and family. This particular interest from an early age subsequently influenced my future education paths and career decisions to get me to where I am today.
